Contact me to schedule a free reading assessment. We can work together to develop a systematic plan of tutoring sessions to build your young reader’s confidence.

With 23 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to making reading a joyful and accessible experience for every student. Starting in 2002 as a second-grade teacher, I have since specialized in helping young learners become confident readers.

Holding both a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Reading  Instruction, I am equipped with the tools to support students with diverse learning needs including dyslexia, phonological deficits and language comprehension difficulties.  My creative, hands-on teaching style, and Orton-Gillingham approach incorporate fun and engaging activities into my lessons, making reading instruction both exciting and effective.
